Often, in matters of litigation, an event has occurred that directly impacted a person’s employability and/or earning capacity. Ideally, losses are adjusted and an accounting is made. But, often a just accounting cannot be determined without an objective evaluation. A vocational evaluation is an objective and well defined process to accurately and realistically classify a person’s transferable skills, determine his or her past, current, and future employability, cite relevant labor market data, and substantiate credible future earning capacity figures specific to the person’s area of residence.
